Karen 31st January 2020

Well beautiful lady, today we say goodbye to you for the final time. It is 5 years this month since I first started working with you and I can honestly say I have never had a kinder, more understanding and supportive boss, but you became so much more than that. You became a very treasured friend. You gave me so much more than a job when you employed me. You gave me friends and memories I will cherish forever. And I will never forget what you wrote in your card to me when you retired, saying how if you could bottle my enthusiasm you'd be a millionaire. That meant so much to me Kristine. It was you who was leaving yet you were writing lovely things to everyone else. But that was you, always thinking of others before yourself. Your smile and presence lit up a room and your wicked sense of humour always made people smile. I feel so blessed to have known you and to have had the chance to spend the time with you that we did in your last few months. Sad memories but happy ones too and a smile comes across my face as I'm writing this as i remember you walking around with your can of air freshener on our first few visits! 😉 You will always have a very special place in my heart Kristine, despite me only knowing you for a few years, you made a huge impression on me and have left me and everyone who knew you with such fond and happy memories of you. You were kind, giving, generous, caring and funny. It was a privilege lovely lady. Farewell for now. I will see you again I'm sure of it, on the other side. Goodbye for now lovely, be at peace. You'll always be with me. Xxxx
